MRS Hospital & Fertility centre named Chellam Clinic was started in 14-11-1980 by Dr. Vasudevan & Dr. Padma Vasudevan., DGO.,. The strength of the hospital was 30 beds. With subsequent expansions in bed strength and ‘State of the art’ facilities, it is now comparable  to any western institution. In 2012 the hospital renamed as MRS Hospital & Fertility centre by Mridhu daughter of Dr. E. Raja., MBBS., DCH., taken up by Dr. K. Sumathi Raja MD., DGO.,

Located in Pollachi, 40 Kms from Coimbatore, near Kerala & Tamilnadu border, MRS Hospital & Fertility centre is situated at Pollachi very near to Main Bus Stand, yet far enough to spare you the din and bustle of the city. A Great amount of time, effort, and detailing has gone into ensuring optimum patient care and comfort while setting up the centre. Going beyond the conventional approach that dictates hospital architecture, we have tried to present our patients with totally a new feel in terms of service and comfort. We have intentionally kept our total bed capacity under 30 in order to ensure very high levels of personal attention to our patients
